The Shutdown Of Imo Timber Market By Nigeria Soldiers, The Lies Of Vanguard News
Mijovia News, July 28, 2021
The Nigeria Soldiers in their intimidation spree have closed down the Timber Marketers in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, leading to a massive protest on Tuesday from the Traders.
The timber marketers were seen protesting along Owerri-Orlu road when they discovered that the road leading to the market has been barricaded by soldiers.
Vanguard News has earlier reported that the reason for the closure of the market was because some members of the market were ESN members. This has proven to be nothing but a white elephant lie.
When Mijovia News made enquiries about the report made by Vanguard, as to know if indeed members of the market are ESN members, they said: "We are surprised to read the news from Vanguard saying that some people doing business in Timber Market were members of the ESN. This is a lie from the pit of hell. If they know that a member of Timber Market belong to ESN, why close the market? Is it not proper to go after the person? But we know that it is all a lie. The person Vanguard claimed to have interviewed is non existent. It is quite unfortunate that journalism is dead in Nigeria. News men now collaborate with the state to subjugate the people." He concluded.
The marketers therefore asked the people to disregard that report from Vanguard.
