Mijovia News, September 12th, 2021 For the 6th consecutive Mondays, the people of Imo State have remained indoors in observance of the voluntary sit at home enacted by the people, after IPOB suspended the proposed Monday Sit At Home.

The people refused to stop the protest after it was called off. Some said that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the only leader they know and until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu speaks to them and asked them to end the protest they won't stop.

Banks and markets remain under lock and key as comutters remain indoors. Mijovia correspondent that monitored the sit at home observed that the road were all deserted even after the governor threatened to deal with banks that obeyed the sit at home. The people seemed to listen to no one except Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Also, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia, Port Harcourt and Asaba also observed the sit at home.
