The Diocese of Orlu through Concerned Lay Faithful Of Orlu Catholic Diocese have debunked the claim of the the Nigeria military that IPOB attempted to kidnap the catholic Bishop of Orlu in the person of His Lordship Augustine Ukwuoma.

The Diocese said that it is never a case of kidnap but an issue of theft and has nothing to do with IPOB or ESN. They therefore said that investigation is ongoing.
