Biafra: Voluntary Sit At Home Continues In Eastern Nigeria As Markets And Banks Remain Closed

Mijovia News, August 30, 2021.

For three consecutive Mondays, South Eastern Nigeria has been under lock and key by the people to press for the unconditional release of the IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. IPOB is a movement of the people seeking for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra. In 1967-70 there have been a civil war between Biafra and Nigeria, a war that led to the killing of 3.5 million Biafrans.

IPOB who declared every Monday starting from 9th August a sit at home, also suspended it after the sit at home recorded some huge success on that Monday 9th August, 2021. But the people decided to continue the sit at home every Monday.

According to the investigation done by Mijovia News, we can authoritatively say that that Owerri, Aba, Enugu, Abakaliki, Nnewi, Asaba, Obigbo, Onitsha and indeed the entire South East are completely deserted. No movement as markets and banks remained shut down.

This is the people making huge statement about who is indeed the leader in South East. Recall that all the Governors and politicians are all against the sit at home, yet the people are not listening to them. The people seemed to have made their choice, that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the only leader they know. And no going back in the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra.
